I opened a ticket with Corsair but I'm not very optimistic. I observed that if the LCD displays the Warning symbol and if iCUE was started at boot, closing iCUE tends to switch the display to zero degree temperature Even though iCUE doesn't recognize anything, it still affects the behaviour of the screen. The power seems to come from the SATA cable that pass through the Commander so unplugging both USB cables has no effect so I'm stuck with the Warning symbol all the time Since I can't get the LCD cap to display anything other than a Warning symbol or a zero degree temperature, I tried to turn the display off but this is not possible as far as I know. With that configuration, I can control and monitor everything as expected (except the RGB, don't care) without the need of iCUE I ended up disconnecting the RGB cables, plugging the fan cable directly into the CPU_FAN (with a 3-to-1 adapter cable) and plugging the LCD cap 3-pin cable into the WB_PUMP.

When the fan and the RGB cables are plugged into the Commander and the LCD cap 3-pin is plugged into the CPU_FAN (as it should if I understood correctly), this results in fan running at full speed and there is no RGB lighting. Both USB ports work since the LCD cap is recognized using either one but the Commander never shows up I basically tried everything, plugging/unplugging, using one with the splitter or two USB internal ports, switching USB ports. iCUE doesn't show anything (nor Commander nor LCD cap) In Windows the LCD cap is recognized under Bluetooth and other devices but the Commander is not.

Sometimes when the PC is powered on or rebooted, I get the Corsair logo animation, then the display indicates either zero degree temperature for the liquid or the Warning symbol. Since most motherboards have power on USB ports by default, I just don't understand how Corsair thought this was a good idea to display a Warning symbol in that situation since it should affect everyone As some have pointed out, it might be due to the fact that the USB port has power but the Commander has not. When the switch of the PSU is turned on, it always results in the Warning symbol. I just built a new PC and also get the Warning symbol.
